Help us find a new home!

We are in search of a new practice space. We need approximately 9,000 sq feet of space, minimum 108x75 ft. Skating surfaces ranges from sport court, gym flooring, polished concrete, to wood. The ideal space would be available from 6:30-8:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September until May. We would be utilizing the space approximately one Saturday a month, with the option of a Saturday/Sunday combination if we are hosting a tournament.

Traverse City Roller Derby is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established to foster the growth of the full contact sport of Roller Derby and skate competitively on a local, regional, national and international level. Our mission is to enrich its members’ lives through athleticism and leadership opportunities while educating the community about the sport of roller derby. Additionally, we actively volunteer and give back to local, charitable organizations.

We have been active in Traverse City since 2010. Currently, we have a summer home season and we utilize the Civic Center. We are looking for a new practice and game space to call home. While we have greatly enjoyed our partnership with the Civic Center we would love to have a Fall/Winter/Spring season. Local events taking place year round assist in increasing community support, off-season tourism, and promoting activity throughout the winter.
